I think it's actually more common for a kid that age to have a tablet than a cell phone, seeing as tablets are used as educational tools (as well as for entertainment).

Windows desktop OS'es from Windows 3.x-7. Yep.

I had a Windows phone, the Motorola Q. I loved it but it was always a bit on the slow side.
